On the morning of September 5, Prof. Banno Kiyoshi and Prof. Liu Jingyue of Shinshu University visited the Institute of Shijiazhuang Fruit Tree and attended the seminar on molecular marking technology. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Pang Zhaojin, Director of the institute and participated by the directors of research teams and related scientists.
At the meeting, Ms. Chu Fengjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, introduced the basic situation of the institute from the aspects as history of development, organization structure, research directions and achievements; Prof. Banno Kiyoshi gave a presentation on his research achievements of molecular marking technology and the progress on apple breeding with red pulp.
After the meeting, Prof Banno Kiyoshi and the researchers exchanged views on the cultivation technologies and research progresses of grape, apple, peach and pear and hoped to develop further cooperation.
