The opening ceremony of The 3rd English Proficiency Training Course of HAAFS was held at the School of Foreign Studies of Hebei Normal University on Oct. 9, 2019. There are 23 young scientists from the institutes of HAAFS in the 90-day training.
President Zhang Tielong of HAAFS attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. He requested in his speech that all the trainees should fully understand the significance of this training, define everyone’s own goals of study and cherish this opportunities to improve the English proficiency and enhance the overall ability of international exchange.
President Prof. Liu Jingze of Hebei Normal University briefed the participants on Hebei Normal University and the School of Foreign Studies. He also noted that the School of Foreign Studies has carefully arranged teachers, classroom and materials for this training, and encouraged everyone to take advantage of the opportunity to get expected results out of this training course.
Student representatives also made statements.
Head of the International Cooperation Division of HAAFS and Leaders of the School of Foreign Studies of Hebei Normal University and representatives of teachers were also presented in the opening ceremony.
